A two-piece suit in cream cotton richly embroidered with brightly coloured geometric silk motifs, cap with blue sequins, bugle beads and his initials, red leather platform boots labelled Nunn Bush ...Italy. This suit was worn on his tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1981 and at the famous free concert in Central Park, New York in 1980. A photograph of Elton from behind on stage wearing a similar suit during the concert accompanies this lot.
