2 blue and white porcelain chargers, China, 18th century, Chenghua mark under the bases, 37 cm diameter and 34.5 cm diameter

Provenance: private Dutch collection, then by marriage in Neuchâtel, in the same family for over than a century

A pair of similar chargers, dated to the Kangxi period, was sold at Bonhams, Edinburgh, 20 July 2011, lot no. 416. A similar charger, also dated Kangxi, was sold at Christie's, Amsterdam, 14 December 2011, lot no. 436. A similar dish is in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, inv. n°CIRC.435-1910.
