Small fragment of Tissint Martian meteorite,Shergottite type, place of discovery: Morocco, 0.78 g., length 1.1 cm

Note: This meteorite was ejected from Marsduring an impact with a celestial body. A recent study suggests that the Mojavecrater is the origin of the Shergottites that fell to earth. Mojave is animpact crater with a diameter of about 58 km and a depth of 2.6 km.
