Esquel pallasite meteorite fragment, placeof discovery: Argentina (Patagonia), 127 g., square section, with base, 9 x 9.5cm

Remark: It was found in Patagonia in 1951by a farmer digging a well. It was then purchased and transported to the USA in1992. The Esquel is considered by many to be the most beautiful meteorite thathas crashed to earth. It is rare and highly sought after by collectors all overthe world.
