A charming copy of these commentaries by Calvin printed by Conrad Badius during the author's lifetime. Our copy contains abundant handwritten annotations possibly from the hand of Guillaume Perrot, according to a 19th-century note, which was a Latin scholar and contemporary of Calvin who attended the Collège de Neuchâtel. A copy in good condition in a singular binding probably from the late 19th, early 20th century. Wear to binding, some foxing and small wetness, ff. 178 and 179 are missing in our copy.
