Provenance: purchased by the current owner in the 1990s from Alisan Fine Arts Gallery in Hong Kong. This gallery, which plays a keyrole in the promotion of contemporary Chinese art, was also one of the first to present Jiang Baolin's work to the public in Hong Kong, an international platform for Chinese art.
