Presence of some chips, especially to the top rim
Presence of some firing imperfections, especially burst bubbles
Presence of some surface scratches
Presence of an old label under the base: "A pair of dishes, painted with warriors on horseback, in panels with key-pattern borders - 13 1/2 in. diam. - Kang Hsi (1662-1723), but bearing the six-character mark of Cheng Hua"
