An important Buddhist rin gong in cast and hammered bronze, Japan, dated 1839, dedication inscription in kanbun engraved on the lip: year 1839 (Tempo 10, year of the boar of the younger brother of the earth), auspicious day of the 10th moon Oku (Shû) Asaka-gun, Sasakawa-mura (village absorbed into the prefecture of Fukushima). In normal use at Shôryû-ji temple. Representative of Shuô temple. Offerers: Izaémon, Minosuke, Katsushige, Kingorô, Fujikura, Jirô, 38 cm diameter approximately 30 cm high
