The other shows a lakeside landscape punctuated by numerous mountains, mist, trees and waterfalls. The landscape is animated by pavilions in the distance and by a few people in the foreground. Both paintings bear the signature of Yong Rong (永瑢, 1744-1790), one of the sons of the Qianlong Emperor (r. 1735-1796) who took up the art of painting, and are executed in his style
