This Maharaja was Knight Grand Commander (GCIE) of the Order of the Indian Empire and wears the medal and collar. A similar platinum-palladium print, attributed to Bourne & Shepherd and dated 1903, is in the Royal Collection, inv. no. RCIN 2916622.
