The arms are described as follows: "Coat of arms of Archer of Umberslade in Warwickshire, "Asure three broad arrows or"; crest "out of mural coronet a dragon's head argent"; impaling Meares of Lancaster, "Gules a chevron between three bougets ermine"; motto FORTITUDO"
