2 octagonal porcelain dishes with the arms of Archer of Umberslade and Meares of Lancaster, China, Qianlong period, 29 cm long

A cup and a saucer with the same coat of arms are in the British Museum, London, inv. n°Franks.786.+. The arms are described as follows: "Coat of arms of Archer of Umberslade in Warwickshire, "Asure three broad arrows or"; crest "out of mural coronet a dragon's head argent"; impaling Meares of Lancaster, "Gules a chevron between three bougets ermine"; motto FORTITUDO"
