An 18 carat gold ewer and basin by Garrard & Co, London 1963, of baluster form resting on a pedestal foot with relief decoration of stylised foliate scrolls surrounding four classical allegories of Fame, Liberty, Glory and Wisdom. The handle is shaped in the form of two dolphins. The basin is decorated with four allegorical putti surrounded with stylised scrolls and foliage featuring Fortune, Love, Glory and Fame. Hallmark G.
