2 chevaux cabrés en terre cuite, Chine, sur socle, h. 38,5 cm et 40 cm (chevaux)

Tests de thermoluminescence pour les deux chevaux, par Oxford Authentication, datant du 5 octobre 2004 (photocopies). La dernière cuisson du premier cheval aurait été faite entre les années 300 et 900 après J.-C. environ. Quant à l'autre cheval, sa dernière cuisson daterait de moins de 100 ans par rapport à nous pour certaines parties, et de 500 ans avant J.-C. à 400 après J.-C. environ pour d'autres.

Veuillez noter que nous n'avons que des photocopies des tests de thermoluminescence.

Test 1:
Three samples were taken.
Sample A: Right side of firing hole.
Sample B: Under the head
Sample C: Back of the saddle
"Using standard methods and techniques it was estimated that the date of last firing was: between 1100 and 1700 years ago"
"Note: Although all three samples are made from ancient clay the object requires examination to determine the extent of restoration"

Test 2:
Sample A: Right side of firing hole.
Sample B: Under the head
Sample C: Back of the saddle

B: Between 1600 and 2500 years ago
